As a novelist, making the reader desperate to know what happens is one of the key to become best-seller. There is no magic formula for making this happen. But novelist can give their selves a much better chance by making sure they get the important things. The most vital of this is the book description and the cover design. If your book description and the cover design don’t grab them and make them feel “the need- the need to read” then you’ve just lost a customer.
My client, a Germany novelist called Amanda really understands about the obvious processes of reason-the ways we organize and represent ideas we get into the book and she always believes that a cover, a description and all the story are a whole package as a life. It should come with the same sense, feeling and emotion as a one of a live show at the reader’s hand to create the need to read it. Every line of description at the back cover has to be compelling and move the story on. And the cover like a form of product packaging, the entire image is needed to identify the product, properly convey the meaning and branding intended, and avoid tarnishing or misrepresenting the image. Just like the book, in fact. Read more about this project here.
