20 Paintings of Javanese Traditional Market & Music Instrument

“Challenge yourself with a painting project”, that’s what I did sometimes to try something new and challenge myself in a new way with the intention of encouraging me to explore new subjects and/or technique either it was personal or client’s project. Two weeks ago, I got a call from Mr. Bambang, the owner of Soerabaja Guest House in Surabaya, Indonesia. He told me that he was very interested with my painting, and wanted to have a collection of sketch Javanese traditional market and traditional music instrument made by me. Even though I have never drawn javanese art before, I know this is a challenge for me to get out of my comfort zone and learn something new and I’m very happy with my decision and the result.
